Today I had my first day of class! I've met international students from all over the world! It's really amazing to hear all the diverse accents meshing together in one room. I've made friends with an Italian girl named Claudia, and another girl from my apartment building who lives in Texas.

This campus is so nice, I feel like I'm walking through Main Street of Disneyland. I've done so much exploring, my feet could fall off! And to top it all off, the Sherlock Holmes cafe is RIGHT across the street from my apartment! I can see if from my window!

So far, I'm loving the weather here! It's been cloudy with the sun peeking through every now and then. Tonight, me and Christina and my new friend Eeman got dressed up and walked to the Novello Theatre 45 minutes before the start of a show and raondomly bought tickets to see Mamma Mia! We then went to the Lyceum pub where I enjoyed sticky toffee pudding(OMG), and my first beer...a nutty Irish ale. As we were eating, it began to rain!(what's that even?)

Mamma Mia was INCREDIBLE. The cast was b-e-a-uitful. British boys-wow. Anyways, I had an eventful day! I'm looking forward to what tomorrow brings!

Tonight was one of the best nights of my life. Me, Christina, Amiel, and Lauren explored Neal's Yard and Covent Garden. Soooo beautiful! The buildings and culture here are amazing! We grabbed a pastry at a famous French cafe called Laduree, then we went to a pub for fish n' chips, and then went pub hopping in search of the best cocktail! We landed at this pub called The Green Canteen and ohhhh myyy. It was full of Brits who had been in the local theatre productions and upstairs they had live music. The pianist played a ton of showtune songs and everyone was drinking and swaying and singing and dancing! I was in the middle of the crowd joining right in!

I will definitely never forget tonight!

Today was full of exploring! I made my way through China Town, Soho, and Leicester Square. We ate at this really cool restraunt called Muriel's Kitchen. Our seats were actually swings that hung from the ceiling! I'm having a hard time dealing with waitresses. They don't seem to understand my accent. Note to self, NEVER ask questions about the menu, don't even bother seeing if they have ranch("what the bloody hell is that?!"), and always ask for the check at least 20 minutes before you plan to leave. The service takes FOREVER because apparently they don't work for tips in Europe.

All in all it has been an entertaining experience! I love getting funny looks when I mess up at ordering or counting my money. Makes the trip all the more fun!
